PURPOSE:To attain various video processings obtained by various combinations by providing a function decoding a command not included in a television function coping with a personal computer or an audio visual AV to an input/output interface section. CONSTITUTION:A RGB signal selected by a RGB interface section is fed also to an A/D conversion section 14 and A/D-converted by receiving a sampling clock from a personal computer. The sampling clock is subjected to buffering by a decoding section 11 from a connector 3b and fed to the A/D conversion section 14. When a RGB interface section 8 selects a signal from a decoder 7n by using a YS signal from the personal computer, color data from the A/D conversion section 14 is sent to the connector 3b. The personal computer receives the color data and stores it in a memory as a synchronizing signal. The decoding section 11 receives a command from the personal computer, judges the selection of an external video signal, switching and combination of sound selection and decides the flow of various signals together with a control section 17.
