<p>The invention relates to a stitch-transfer needle for knitting machines, having a transverse recess designed as an inclined plane and a leaf spring which is fastened at one end to the needle and at the other end located nearer the needle head is mounted freely in a longitudinal groove of the needle and which forms a bridge in the region of the transverse recess. To improve its operating capacity, according to the invention this needle is characterised in that the leaf spring possesses, in the region above the transverse recess, a widening which extends as far as the entry edge of the recess and which allows the needle head of the take-up needle to pass through.</p> |
