PURPOSE:To simplify the firm fixing of a plant platform vessel at a fixed sea area by forming an enclosure wall with several independent floating bodies to firm fix a plant platform vessel for towing these bodies to the fixed sea area, standing, sinking, and assembling them to construct the enclosure wall. CONSTITUTION:A plant platform vessel is towed to a fixed sea area and fixed in a floating state. Then, an enclosure wall is constructed on the sea bottom around the vessel. In this case, the enclosure wall is constructed of two pairs of floating bodies 5 and 6 respectively symmetrical. The floating body 5 is shaped to be slanted to be wider in its lower part toward the inside, and provided with vertical grooves 7 on both ends of its inside and a rail 9 on its lower side to be fitted in a groove of a base 8. Meanwhile, the other floating body 6 is shaped into an inverse trapezoid with the same inner slant with the floating body 5 in a side 10, and provided with rails 11 on both side ends and the lower part. In this construction, floating bodies 5 and 6 are towed to a fixed sea area, and ballast water is injected into them for standing. Then, they are sunk and assembled for constructing the enclosure wall. |
