PURPOSE:To effectively prevent corrosion and scaling and to provide freedom from maintenance by simultaneously impressing weak current and magnetic fields to the required point of a plant piping, etc. to generate electron cyclon flow in the pipe. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic field generating devices are incorporated at stationary intervals to the piping 1 of a plant and the ferromagnetic fields are applied to an aq. soln. 2 in the piping 1 by the magnetic lines of force from the magnetic poles thereof. The weak constant current (i) of about 5-300mA DC is passed to the piping 1 at the same instant by megexciters attached at specified intervals to the piping 1. The ion groups in the soln. 2 are thereby spirally and electrically vigorously moved and are electrically focussed to the center of the pipe 1. The ion groups contg. H<+>, etc., do not stick to the pipe wall 1a and do not form a local battery. The generation of the corrosion on the pipe wall 1a is thereby prevented and the ion groups act effectively on the particles which are the cause for scale in the soln. 2, thereby preventing the scaling.
