PURPOSE:To make possible to effectively shift live baits into a daily tank without the live bait being harmed, by attaching a suction device to a press-proof tank so that vacuum is effected in the tank so that the live baits are sucked into the tank. CONSTITUTION:In order to shift live baits in a live bait hold into a daily tank 2, a take-out port of the daily tank 2 is covered with a lid 3 and is therefore fluid-tightly closed. Then, a pump 7 is started to feed a suitable amount of water under pressure into an ejector 6 so that suction force is effected in the ejector 6. With the use of such a suction force water and air in the daily tank 2 is sucked and discharge out. Then, the daily tank 2 is evacuated, a pressure differential being effected between an opening end 4x and a connecting end 4y of a conveying pipe 4, and therefore, live baits and water in the live bait hold 1 are shifted into the daily tank 2. Accordingly, there is no need of provision of an ejector and the like which may possibly harm live baits, and therefore, it is possible to enhance the efficiency of working.
