PURPOSE:To obtain the captioned apparatus having the compact constitution by installing a slidable member which can be engaged with one among a plurality of slider engagement positions, onto a guide rail laid onto a chassis and installing a block member onto the slidable member, thus forming a slider engagement adjusting means. CONSTITUTION:In the captioned apparatus, a slider 20 for supporting an anchor plate 19 onto which one edge 142 of a restraining belt 14 is fixed is fitted in slidable ways into the guide groove 32 of a guide rail 24 laid along the front pillar, roof side member, etc. of a car. In this case, a slidable member 90 having a nearly U-shaped section is fitted in slidable ways onto the guide rail 24, and the stop bar 930 of a block means 93, connecting rod 931, and a spring 935 are accommodated inside. The stopper 930 is inserted and slipped off from the adjusting hole 974 of the guide rail 24, insertion hole 483 of a cover 48, and the adjusting hole 846 of an anchor bracket 84 by operating an operating knob 933, and the slider 20 engagement position can be adjusted.
