PURPOSE:To enable correction and adjustment of a marking position on an article or the like to be performed speedily and accurately without detaching a die or the like, by a construction wherein the position of a die relative to a die holder fitted to a rotary shaft of a marking machine can be adjusted in the axial direction and the rotating direction. CONSTITUTION:A die holder 1 is fitted to a rotary shaft 11 of a marking machine, and is fixed by a know screw 10. A cylinder 3 is fixed to the die holder 1, so that it can not be rotated, by engaging a pin 4 into a key groove 1c. The screws provided respectively at an inner peripheral part and an outer peripheral part of an adjuster 2 have different pitches. Therefore, when the adjuster 2 is turned under the condition where a cylinder pressing nut 8 and an adjuster pressing nut 9 are untightened, the cylinder 3 and a die ring 5 are moved in the axial direction relative to the die holder 1, so that the position of the die 6 in the axial direction can be adjusted by rotating the adjuster 2 through operating a knob 2a. To adjust the position of the die in the rotating direction, a fastening nut 7 is untightened, the die ring 5 is rotated to set the position of the die 6, and the nut 7 is again tightened, thereby positioning.
