<p>An electrode for erosion of a metal workpiece is formed by a covering of conductive material on a plastic core. A blank of the conductive material is firstly formed in the shape of the electrode, and the blank is then placed in a negative of the electrode and filled with viscous plastics material. After solidification of the plastics material, openings are bored in the top of the electrode while it is still in the negative, and plugs are pressed into the opening for screw fixing the electrode holder.</p> |
