The apparatus comprises centrifugal treatment chambers which rotate around a spindle and have radial dividing walls. The gas is channelled radially into the apparatus in the opposite direction to the action of a gravitation field and rotated at high speed. Thus, the suspended particles separate into the gravitation field, in its direction of movement and in counterflow to the gas. Specifically, the gases are introduced into a spiral housing surrounding the chambers at the same speed as the chamber peripheries, before entry into the chambers themselves
