PURPOSE:To obtain a hair tonic cosmetic effective in preventing alopecia, suppressing the sebum secretion, suppressing the formation of dandruff and promoting the growth of hair, by using spironolactone as a main component and combining the component with a component having blood flow accelerating action and/or hair matrix cell activating action such as extract of Swertia japonica. CONSTITUTION:The objective hair tonic cosmetic is produced by combining (A) spironolactone of formula known as a diuretic (in an amount of 0.0001-3.0wt%, preferably 0.001-0.5wt% based on the whole composition) and (B) a component having blood flow accelerating action and/or hair matrix cell activating action such as extract of Swertia japonica, extract of Panax ginseng, extract of Fomes japonicus, vitamin E nicotinate, diisopropylamine dichloroacetate, gamma-aminobutyric acid, D-pantothenylethyl alcohol, biotin, etc. The amount of the component B is preferably about 1.0-20wt% for the extract of Swertia japonica and 0.1-10wt% for the extract of Panax ginseng. |
