PURPOSE:To form the space permitting utilization between the horizontal plane constituted by seats and the car interior floor by constituting the horizontal plane which is formed by turning the foldable type seats in front and back rows forward and rearward so as to be raised and lowered for the car interior floor plane. CONSTITUTION:As for the foldable seats S and S' installed in the front and rear back rows, the front edge of the seat plate S1-1 of the seat cushion S1 of the front-row seat S is installed in the forward turnable ways onto the front edge side of a frame 2, and the lower edge part of a shoulder part S3 is installed in forward turnable ways onto an operating plate 3 through a shaft 5. While, the seat cushion S2 of the rear-row seat S' is superposed onto the seat plate S2-1 installed and fixed onto the frame 2, and the front edge part is installed in forward turnable ways, and the lower edge part of the shoulder S4 is installed in backward turnable ways onto the rear edge part of the seat plate S2-1. The rear edge part of the frame 2 and a jack 17 on a car interior floor 1 are connected by a supporting rod 16, and the frame 2 is raised and lowered by operating the jack 17, and the frame 2 is supported by the supporting levers 13-16 at the rising position.
