PURPOSE:To improve comfortableness in driving by arranging the constitution is such a way that a suspension arm is supported, through rubber bush, vertically swingable on an outer tube subjected to free coaxial serration connection to a torsion bar, in a torsion bar type suspension device. CONSTITUTION:A torsion bar 26 is installed coaxially with and inside an outer tube 25 and both rear ends 25a, 26a are connected together a by means of serration 27 and end 25b is provided with a rubber bush 28 and fixed through it. And the constitution is so arranged that a suspension arm 30 may be vertically swingably supported by the outer tube 25 through rubber bushes 29, 32 and subjected to downward energizing force due to the torsional force of the torsion bar 26 through an anchor arm 33 connected to the tip end 26b of the torsion bar 26. By this constitution, the torsion center TC of the torsion bar and the swing center of the suspension arm became coaxial with each other, therefore the swing is made smooth and the comfortableness in driving is improved. |
