PURPOSE:To simultaneously execute the reuse of heat and dehumidification with a simple constitution by heat-exchanging dry air and removing moisture generated by the heat exchange. CONSTITUTION:A drying device 9 is formed like a box and arranged on the upper part of an automatic developing machine 1 through an insulating material 12. A carrying means 13 is arranged on the center of the device 9, a pair of rollers 14 constituting the means 13 are rotatably supported in a drying part 15 interlocking with the drying part 15 and a photosensitive material is carried in accordance with the rotation of the rollers 14. On the other hand, dry air is supplied from a slit 26 formed between a heating room 21 and the drying part 15 into the drying room 15. The dry air is blown upon a louver-like plate material 30 of a heat exchange part 29 through an exhaust passage 28, the exhaust air containing moisture in the drying part 15 is exhausted to a connection passage 31 and the moisture generated by the heat exchange is collected to a container 32.
