PURPOSE:To obtain magnetic toner capable of producing superior picture image having image density by incorporating polyester resin having a specified melt viscosity to a magnetic toner, and by making smooth toner surface. CONSTITUTION:A hot roll type magnetic toner for developing magnetic latent image is formed by mixing polyester resin having 1X10<2>-1X10<4> poise melt viscosity at 100 deg.C with toner particles contg. magnetic powder. Non-linear polyester resin prepd. from at least one kind of polyol and at least one kind of polycarboxylic acid is used as the polyester resin. Further, 50-70wt% magnetic powder is contained to smoothen the surface of toner particles contained therein. Thus, the surface of the magnetic toner is smoothened and superior picture image having high density of picture image is developed. |
