PURPOSE:To enable the rear portion of a moved opening and closing roof to be received even in a narrow opening without providing any special lid or the like for providing an economical opening and closing system structure by forming the rear portion of roof of a portion of a rotor having a rotary axis of a straight line passing through pivots. CONSTITUTION:The rear portion 11 of a roof is mounted pivotably rearward by pivots 13 provided at both sides of a car body 12, and formed into a portion of a cylindrical body having the rotary axis of a straight line 20 interconnecting the pivots 13. Thus, any special opening and closing door or the like is not needed for receiving the roof 11. Thus, an opening and closing system roof can be realized with low cost. Further, the pivots 13 may be automatically pivoted by a motor through a worm wheel and worm gear.
