PURPOSE:To make a simple, secure connection possible between two pipings located on a same axial line by forming sealing surfaces of each connecting ends of the pipings for coming into liquid-tight contact with each other and by engaging a nut arranged at one connecting end part with threads formed at the other end section. CONSTITUTION:A fuel feed piping 21 for introducing fuel from a fuel pump 20 to a fuel injection nozzle 18 directed to a combustion chamber of an engine is divided into a nozzle side inlet pipe 24 and a fuel feed source side pressure feed pipe 25 and the both pipes 24 and 25 are connected to each other near a through hole 23 bored through a partition wall 22 of a cylinder head. Here, sealing surfaces 27 and 28 to be brought into liquid-tight contact with each other are formed respectively at each connecting end part of the inlet pipe 24 and the pressure feed pipe 25. While a thread part 30 is formed at the connecting part of the inlet pipe 24, a joining nut 29 is rotatably installed at the connecting end part of the pressure feed pipe 25. The joining nut 29 is then screwed on the thread part 30 to make it possible to maintain the liquid- tight condition between the both sealing surfaces 27 and 28.
