PURPOSE:To enable to perform reliable positioning of a mirror, by a method wherein driving of a driving motor forces the projection of a slide ring into selective contact with both end surfaces of the notch of a base, and a mirror can be positioned in a regular portion or a containing position. CONSTITUTION:When a mirror is contained, a drive gear 9 is rotated by means of a driver gear 4 through driving of a drive motor 3. Rotation of the drive gear causes rotation of a drive ring 8, and rotation of a slide ring 7, joined with the drive ring 8 by means of a friction force, and rotation of a mirror ring 6 forced into friction contact with the slide ring 7. Rotation of the slide ring 7 causes a projection 7a to rotate within a base 1a, and make contact with an end surface 1b, resulting in the stop of rotation of the slide ring 7. Thereafter, with the slide ring 8 further rotated, the projection 8a is forced into contact with an end surface 6b of a mirror ring 6 or an end surface 7b of a slide ring 7, rotation of the drive ring 8 is stopped, and the mirror is brought into a containing stage. |
