PURPOSE:To improve comfortableness in driving by arranging the constitution in such a way that a suspension arm is supported on an outer tube coaxial with a torsion bar through a rubber bush, in a torsion bar type suspension device. CONSTITUTION:A torsion bar 26 is arranged coaxially with and inside an outer tube 25 extending in the longitudinal direction of a car body and the rear end 25a of the outer tube 25 and a rear end 26a of the torsion bar 26 are connected together by means of a separation 27. And a suspension arm 30 is supported by the outer tube 25 through rubber bushes 29, 32. In this constitution, since the torsion bar 26 and the outer tube 25 are coaxial with each other, the torsion center TC of the torsion bar 26 and the swing center SC of the suspension arm 30 become coaxial with each other therefore the vertical swing of the suspension arm 30 is made smooth and comfortableness in driving is improved. |
