PURPOSE:To prevent exhaust gases from interfering with each other and increase an exhaust pulsating effect by providing a Siamese type exhaust port on which plural exhaust ports are collected, on the upper course side of an exhaust pipe, while connecting a single exhaust port to said exhaust pipe via an exhaust branch pipe. CONSTITUTION:Intake ports 13, 14 and exhaust ports 15, 16 are provided on cylinder heads 11, 12 on the right and left banks of a horizontally opposite type engine body E respectively. Exhaust ports 17a, 17b connected to exhaust ports 15a, 15b, and exhaust ports 18a, 18b connected to exhaust ports 16a, 16b respectively, are collected to ports 17c, 18c, being formed into a Siamese type respectively, and connected to large diameter exhaust pipes 19, 20. On the other hand, an exhaust port 21 connected to an exhaust port 15c and an exhaust port 22 connected to an exhaust port 16c which are positioned close to an engine supporting front cross member 25 are independently connected to exhaust branch pipes 23, 24 respectively, which are connected nearly perpendicularly to the exhaust pipes 19, 20.
