PURPOSE:To permit to control and manage a plurality of terminal machines together or separately by separating a specified terminal machine without neglecting the individual functions of the terminal machines by a method wherein respective terminal machines are controlled directly by an individual slave machine and a master machine, controlling and monitoring respective slave machines together, is connected to an individual operation master machine, operating individually with respect to a specified slave machine to form a communication relation by the transmission and reception between the master machine and the slave machines. CONSTITUTION:A slave machine 4 is operated by the commanding data of either a master machine 5 or an individual operation master machine 50 while a terminal machine 3 develops a predetermined function by the output section of the slave machine 4. In case a specified terminal machine 3 is to be operated by separating it from the master machine 5, a function selecting switch input 13 is switched to an individual operation mode to control the slave machine 4, under the control of the master machine 5 and the address thereof is specified by the individual operation master machine 50, by the individual operation master machine 50. The operation of said slave machine 4 effected by the individual operation master machine 50 is put in a possible condition only when an operating command therefor is being outputted from the master machine 5 and the function of the terminal machine 3 may be commanded.
