PURPOSE:To easily locate a position of connecting both slide roof and tilt mechanism and a drive wire for preventing wear by connecting both slide roof and tilt mechanism to an end of the drive wire to contact the drive wire side only when a lock member is slided. CONSTITUTION:When an opening 10 is opened, a drive wire 80 is pulled to the drive source side, and a tilt mechanism 60 is driven to lift the rear portion of a slide. Thereafter, the tilt mechanism 60 is disconnected from an end of the drive wire 80. Thus, a slide roof 20 is slided after the completion of loose movement with the drive wire 80. When the opening 10 is closed, the drive wire 80 is pushed out of the drive source and the remaining operations are carried out according to the quite reverse procedures to the opening ones. Further, a tilt guide 90 can engage a release portion 37 of rear end of a tilt guide rail 33 in the drive of drive wire 80 in the closing direction and be disengaged from said portion 37 into the release condition in the drive of drive wire in the opening direction. And the released condition is released when a lock press member on an end of the drive wire 80 presses a lock member 39.
