PURPOSE:To cause an instrument panel to look neat and to reduce a mounting space of a CRT device, by a method wherein a CRT is vertically placed to a rotatable support body in the instrument panel, and a picture is projected on the reflecting surface of an openable cover body. CONSTITUTION:An opening 5 is formed in the upper surface of an instrument panel 2, and a CRT 9 is contained and placed with a display picture facing on a position below the opening. An openable cover body 7 having a reflecting surface 8, by which the display picture of the CRT 9 can be reflected toward the drive side to visually confirm it during opening of the cover body, is placed to the opening 5. A support body 6, supporting the CRT 9 and the cover body 7, is so positioned as to allow rotation of the support body about on a plane, and the reflecting surface 8 can be moved in a given visual direction in a room through control. This constitution enables visual confirmation of various information on the display picture of the CRT 9 from an arbitrary direction, and meanwhile, the cover body 7 is closed during non-use, and this causes the instrument 2 to look neat and enables reduction of a mounting space of the CRT 9.
