摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of air-fuel ratio control through enhancing the reliability of estimation by carrying out learning which varies according to the small Tp (fuel injection pulse width) range and the large Tp range, and then permitting the estimation of learning value in the small learning progress range from a large learning process range to be performed only in the large Tp range. CONSTITUTION:A comparing means C is provided for comparing a basic injection quantity, which is set up according to an intake-air quantity and an engine speed, with a preset value, and then, at the time of judging Tp range, by means of a retrieving means E is retrieved a learning correction quantity within a corresponding engine operating range from a storing means D. In addition, the learning correction quantity is corrected to increase and decrease according to the sizes of both the mean value of air-fuel ratio feedback correction factors and the reference value. On the other hand, at the time of judging the large Tp range, a new learning correction factor is set up by an updating means I according to both the air-fuel ratio feedback correction factors and the learning correction factors retrieved, by a retrieving means H, from a storing means G. And then, a fuel injection quantity is computed taking the above air-fuel ratio feedback correction factors, learning correction factors and learning correction quantity into account.
