PURPOSE:To enable to perform reliable positioning of the regular position or the containing position of a mirror, by a method wherein, through driving of a drive motor, the projection of a drive ring is forced into selective contact with both end surface of the notch of a base. CONSTITUTION:When a mirror case 11 is contained by rotating a mirror from a regular position to a containing position, through driving of a drive motor 3, a drive gear 9 is rotated. Through rotation of the drive gear 9, a drive ring 8 is rotated about integrally with the drive gear by means of a friction force, and a mirror ring 6, joined with the drive ring 8 by means of a friction force, is rotated integrally with each other. A projection 8a, prevented from rotation along with rotation of the drive ring 8, is brought into contact with an one end surface 1c of a notch 1a of a base 1 to stop rotation of the drive ring 8. Thereafter, further rotation of the drive ring 8 results in rotation of the mirror ring 6, and in contact of one end surface 6c of the notch of the mirror ring 6 with the projection 8a of the drive ring to bring the mirror into a containing state. |
