PURPOSE:To obtain a molding having a coating which can resist peeling, discoloration, etc., for a long time, by molding a flexible synthetic resin containing a plasticizer into a molding and coating it after subjecting its external surface to low-temperature plasma treatment. CONSTITUTION:A molding M is produced from a flexible synthetic resin (e.g., flexible vinyl chloride resin) containing a plasticizer (e.g., dioctyl phthalate) and is held in a cylindrical chamber 20 by supporting it on a hunger 21. The hungers are rotated and the chamber 20 is evacuated to a high vacuum. A gas mixture formed by mixing CO2 gas with a gas such as He or Ar is slowly fed at a small flow rate from a cylinder 2 to the chamber 20 and at the same time microwaves are applied to the gas mixture to generate a plasma of the gas at a generator part 25. This plasma is applied to the molding M. This molding M is withdrawn and coated to obtain the purpose molding. |
