PURPOSE:To sharply facilitate riding on and off of a driver in a way that a seat is automatically returned to its original position when the driver seats, by a method wherein a seat moving device, mounted to a seat, is so constituted as to allow longitudinal movement. CONSTITUTION:A seat moving device 50 is so constituted such that a driving source 53 for moving a seat and a driving screw 54, driven by the driving source, are attached to the under surface of a rotary support 11. The one side of a driving bracket 55 having the other end threadedly joined with the driving screw 54 is attached to a lower slide rail 52 of right and left lower slide rails 52. Further, driving of a driving source 53 for moving a seat through a control device enables the rotary support body 11 to be moved by a given distance.
