PURPOSE:To prevent a copied substance from the generation of a tip shadow by forming a light emitting mirror so that a great part of light radiated from a light emitting body is effectively led to an original on a contact glass, and arranging a mirror for reflecting light which is not made incident upon the original and leading the reflected light again to the light emitting body oppositely to a condensing mirror. CONSTITUTION:Light X radiated from a halogen lamp 62 and reflected by the 1st area (R1) of the condensing mirror 61 and light Y reflected by the 2nd area (R2) are irradiated to the lighting area of the original D directly through the contact glass 14. Light Z reflected by the 3rd area (R3) of the mirror 61 is reflected by a mirror 63, reflected again by the 3rd area (R3) of the mirror 61 and condensed into the halogen lamp 62. The light is irregularly reflected by the glass tube part of the lamp 62 and the light passing a similar optical path is irradiated to the original D. Thereby, irradiation light to be irradiated to a part to be illuminated is not interrupted by a white reflecting part 65 formed under the contact glass 14 and the generation of a tip shadow can be suppressed.
