<p>The arrangement is useful in inductor, transformer, motor or generator. The core is formed from stacked toroids, each of a magnetically permeable strip material, preferably, an alloy of composition M(60-90)T(0-15)x(10-25) where M is iron, cobalt or nickel, T is a transition metal element, and X is phosphorous, boron or carbon. The number of primary coil sections is at least three, and is in the range of 16-20. A segmented secondary winding is formed of inner conductors and outer conductors seperated by annular spacers.</p> |
