This invention relates to the manufacturing method of the cigarette paper of great porosity, which is made from arrowroot. An arrowroot is cut in fixed length and resolved by using caustic soda and emulsifying soda at high temperature. The resolved arrowroot is bleached by using a hypochloride acid soda and the arrowroot pulp is made. The cigarette paper of great porosity is made from arrowroot pulp.
