The invention relates to a device for enabling leaf clearing through the use of grazing, fenced-in animals, and more particularly for controlling undergrowth on rejuvenation areas within forestry, comprising an electric current loop 2 which determines the boundary of the enclosure 1 and a unit 12 carried by at least certain of the fenced-in animals, which unit is arranged to interact with the said current loop which is arranged to transmit a variable field. The said unit, which is carried by at least certain animals in the enclosure, comprises a sensor 13 for the said variable field and converters 15,16 of the field variations into an acoustic signal to which the animal will react in conditioned manner and which it will seek to avoid by distancing itself from the current loop. The loop comprises a conductor in a flat plastics insulation of substantial width and is signal-coloured and intended to be laid directly on the ground. <IMAGE> |
