PURPOSE:To check such a case where a program is partly returned to an old edition by mistake when the program has a revised edition, by checking the editions based on the edition of each module contained in the program against the old and new programs. CONSTITUTION:A module control list 3 of an old program 32 is extracted together with the list 3 of a new program 31. Then the comparison is carried out between both lists 3 to check the new and old number of editions for each module. If the edition of the module in the program 31 is older than that of the module in the program 32, this fact is informed to the user. |
