<p>PURPOSE:To perform a stabilized tension control by detecting that the speed correction quantity at the downstream side stand is saturated and by giving the speed correction quantity in the same ratio with the saturated correction quantity of the downstream side stand as the fixed value to the upstream side stand. CONSTITUTION:Rolling rolls 1, 2 are driven by a motor 4 and a tension control device 8 performs the tension control by the rolling load detected by an operation detector 3 and torque detector 6, and the output torque of the motor 4. The saturation detector 10 which detects that the speed correction quantity is saturated by the output signal of a speed correction limiter 9 is provided on the tension control device 8 thereof and when the saturation is detected by this saturation detector 10, the speed correction signal in a fixed quantity is outputted to the upstream side stand.</p> |
