PURPOSE:The titled two-pack type composition, consisting of a specific composition and a composition obtained by adding and dispersing a readily oxidizable transition metal compound present stable at ordinary temperature in the above- mentioned composition, curable at room temperature, capable of readily controlling the curing time and suitable for potting, etc. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive composition consisting of (A) a composition consisting of an acrylate or methacrylate monomer and an organic peroxide and, as necessary, a diluting monomer and (B) a composition consisting of an acrylate or methacrylate monomer mixable with the component (A) without causing abnormality, e.g. crack, on mixing and curing and, as necessary, a diluting monomer and a compound without initiating the polymerization by the component (B) along and further a readily oxidizable transition metal compound present stable at ordinary temperature added and dispersed therein. The transition metal compound is preferably a readily oxidizable carbonate, sulfate, nitrate and/or chloride of copper, iron, zinc, Cd, Ti, Al, Mg, Mn and/or Sn present stable at ordinary temperature. USE:Suitable for sealing.
