PURPOSE:To improve the image processing capacity by providing a means which delivers the picture element density suited to each system bus between >=2 system buses which treat the image data of different levels of picture element density that are controlled by an independent CPU. CONSTITUTION:Both buses BUS1 and 2 are controlled by independent central processing units 1 and 2 and treat the image data of different picture element density. A scanner interface 5' is connected to both buses BUS1 and 2 respectively and can give the image output of the picture element density suited to each bus. The data supplied from a scanner 4 are given directly to both buses BUS1 and 2.
