PURPOSE:To remove the positional shear of a lens and to improve the reliability of an optical parts by melting and solidifying melting glass powder and fixing the lens on an outer case. CONSTITUTION:The glass powder 215 with a low melting point is uniformly inserted into a gap formed between an outer case 35 and a drum lens 33 and then the whole of the outer case 35 and the lens 33 is heated to melt the low melting point glass powder 215. The melted glass is efficiently adsorbed to the outer case 35 and the lens 33, and the lens 33 is effectively fixed on the outer case 35 by cooling the melted glass. After fixing the lens 33, an optical fiber 31 held on the center of a fiber holding material 41 having approximately the same outer diameter as the inner diameter of the other end 213 of the cylindrical outer case 35 is inserted into the other end 213 and the point of the optical fiber 31 is opposed to the drum lens 33 and fixed. Consequently, the positional shear of the drum lens 33 is removed and the reliability of the optical parts can be improved.
