PURPOSE:To obtain a picture uniform in density by providing a recording part with a power supply control circuit which sets the recording energy differently between normal recording and repeated recording in accordance with each picture signal level. CONSTITUTION:In case of N-number of times of repeated recording, a correction signal (o) is turned on, and a recording control circuit 18 outputs a pulse signal (q) by the input of a pulse signal (e). A power supply control circuit 16 controls the time of power supply to a heating body 17 in accordance with the level of a picture signal (p), and the power supply time for repeated recording and that for normal recording are changed in accordance with each picture signal level. When the pulse signal (q) is inputted, the power supply control circuit 16 supplies power to the heating body 17 for the power supply time for repeated correction corresponding to the picture signal level. When the recording control circuit 18 turns on a recording and signal (f) after power supply, a control part 11 detects the signal (f), and the pulse signal (e) is outputted to perform the same operation. After this operation is repeated N-number of times, the control part 11 turns off the correction signal (o).
