PURPOSE:To enable values nearly equal to laser powers actually emitted from probes to be always displayed by measuring the laser powers after being divided in a plurality of channels and passed trough extinction filters. CONSTITUTION:When a laser oscillator 40 is operated and any of probes 25-27 is made to abut against an affected part, probe signals are generated, a main shutter 3 is opened and a laser beam is introduced. Then, extinction filters 10-12 are set by a power adjusting knob as desired. Part of power-adjusted laser beams CH1-CH3 are reflected from half mirrors 28-30 and incident upon the power meters 31-33 of channels, respectively. Outputs after the measurement by the power meters are A/D-converted (34-36) and power-displayed (37-39). Then, when a foot switch is stepped on, the laser beams pass the slits of the extinction filters 16-18 and are led to emitting probes 25-27 via condenser lenses 19-21 and optical fiber bundles 22-24, respectively, being emitted.
