PURPOSE:To shorten greatly the time required to obtain a filling picture out of a contour picture without deteriorating the accuracy of the filling picture, by adding a filling processing means. CONSTITUTION:A filling means 20 consists of three sheets of 1-bit data memories having the same size with an image memory 3 and also contains a plane memory 17 which is controlled by a CPU 11. A memory address generating circuit 16 produces an address for filling process to a memory 17 in response to the filling mode of the contour picture data. Then a filling arithmetic circuit 18 perform the mediation when the data stored in the memory 17 is calculated and the plane data obtained after said calculation is added to the contour picture data. With use of such a filling processing means, the time required to obtain a filling picture from a contour picture can be shortened greatly without deteriorating the accuracy of the filling picture. |
