PURPOSE:To form a clearance between a cage type conductor and a core slot, and to reduce stray load loss by casting a conductive material to a rotor core at low pressure, shaping the cage type conductor and pressing and molding an end ring. CONSTITUTION:A rotor core 4 is fixed into molds 1-3, and a conductive material 14 such as aluminum is injected from a sleeve 15 at pressure smaller than normal pressure. Consequently, a cage type conductor 19 is shaped, and end rings 9 and 10 in the cage type conductor 19 are pressed and molded by a press mold, thus forming a cage type rotor 18. Accordingly, clearances are shaped among the cage type conductor 19 and the inner walls of slots 5 for the rotor core 4, and the same effect as the cage type conductor 19 is insulated is obtained, thus reducing stay load loss, then improving torque characteristics.
