PURPOSE:To obtain both a band-pass filtering and a band-stop filtering characteristic by arranging 1/2 wavelength microstrip lines formed in U-shaped on an insulating base while they are meshed together and the direction is made opposite alternately adjacently. CONSTITUTION:The channel shapes of the 1/2 microstrip lines 2, 3 formed in U-shape are meshed with each other and arranged adjacently on the surface of the insulation base 1. Thus, the band-pass filter using a frequency f0 corresponding to a line length of the lines 2, 3 as a center frequency is constituted by the electromagnetic induction between a line 2a being one end of the line 2 and a line 3a being one end of the other line 3. Further, the line 3a being one end of the other line 3 receives the electromagnetic induction also from the line 2b being the other end of the line 2. Then a band-stop filter taking a frequency f1 as the center frequency is constituted.
