PURPOSE:To obtain the titled glass at low cost and at high yield by dipping a dried gel or a sintered gel obtd. by a gel-sol method into a specific fluorinated alkyl alkoxysilane compd. and dispersing it. CONSTITUTION:The sintered gel is obtd. by producing the dry gel from a starting material of at least one of a metal alkoxide of the silane compd. or a super fine powder of silica according to the sol-gel method and by thermally treating the obtd. dried gel. And then, the dried gel or sintered gel is dipped in the fluorinated alkylalkoxysilane compd. shown by the formula R-Si(OR')3 wherein R is fluoronated alkyl group, R' is alkyl group, or the formula RR'-Si(OR'')2 wherein R and R' are each fluorinated alkyl group, R'' is alkyl group, or the formula RR'R''-Si(OR''') wherein R, R' and R'' are each fluorinated alkyl and R''' is alkyl group, dispersing it and then drying and sintering same. |
