PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for additional components, save assembly man- hour, and prevent a cord from coming off a connector by providing within a reel a U-shaped groove and engage-stopping pieces projecting from the peripheral wall of the reel toward the opening of the reel, thereby engage-stopping a cord. CONSTITUTION:There are arranged a bottom wall 23a and a peripheral wall 23b of a winding drum 23, a convex ridge 43 of flat surface and U-shaped cross section, and a groove 46 of flat surface and U-shaped cross section and is surrounded on three sides by projections 44 and 45 projecting from the peripheral wall 23b toward inside, and the convex ridge 43. On a surface, facing the convex ridge 43, of the peripheral wall 23b are arranged engage-stopping pieces 47 and 48 projecting toward the opening of a reel. When a cord 15 is routed in the U-shaped groove 46 and prevented from coming off the upper surface by means of engage-stopping pieces 47 and 48, tension of the cord does not transmitted to the base end of the cord, which eliminates the need for a cord clip or the like.
