PURPOSE:To keep the quiescent time of the frequency of a reference waveform signal constant even when the frequency is changed by altering a coefficient multiplied to a sub-control signal in response to the tangent function of frequency or an approximate function thereof. CONSTITUTION:A main control signal IS sin omegat is inputted to one input terminal of an adder 18 as it is, the sections of a section to phase pi from pi/2 and a section to 2pi from 3pi/2 in a sub-control signal Kf. IS cos omegat multiplied by Kf by a multiplier 23 are inputted to the other input terminal of the adder 18, and a reference waveform signal represented by a sign 21 is outputted to the adder 18. In this case, a tangent function using the frequency (f) of the main control signal IS sin omegat as a variable is generated by a function generator 22, and an output from the function generator 22 is employed as a coefficient Kf. Accordingly, the coefficient Kf changes in response to the variation of frequency (f), thus keeping the quiescent time of the reference waveform signal constant.
