PURPOSE:To shorten a span of film conveying time as well as to aim at improve ment in operation efficiency, by installing a device, storing driving timing for operating a braking device according to film length, and a controlling device, and making a film head jutting size alterable. CONSTITUTION:When a film's perforation is situated at a feeding port P of a conveying device 1A, braking force is applied to brake acting parts 15 and 4 of a braking device 1B by a device controlling it with the specified driving timing, whereby a film is jerked by the conveying device 1A and cut at the perforation. And, this separated film is conveyed to a packaging part and, before being stopped, the applied braking force of these brake acting parts 15 and 4 is released by the preset driving timing as specified whereby the film head stopped so far at the feeding port P is delivered. Thus, braking control is carried out with the driving timing conformed to film length whereby a delivery quantity of the film, namely, the head jutting size can be preset so that it can easily cope with even an alteration of the film length, thus film conveying time is reducible.
