PURPOSE:An agricultural and horticultural insecticidal and germicidal composition, containing a mostly novel specific nitromethylene derivative and 1-(4- chlorobenzyl)-1-cyclopentyl-3-phenylurea and capable of controlling blights and injurious insects of agricultural and horticultural crops at the same time. CONSTITUTION:An agricultural and horticultural insecticidal and germicidal composition, obtained by incorporating (A) a mostly novel compound (insecticide) expressed by the formula (X is lower alkyl, lower alkoxy or halogen; l is 0, 1 or 2; m is 2 or 3) with (B) 1-(4-chlorobenzyl)-1-cyclopentyl-3-phenylurea (agricultural and horticultural germicide) as active constituents at, e.g. 1:0.05-20, preferably 1:0.1-10 weight ratio of the components (A) to (B) by pts.wt., capable of exhibiting improved potentiating and synergistic action which has not been attained by effect of the respective independent agents and further improved insecticidal germicidal effect on both blights and injurious insects of agricultural and horticultural crops and particularly effective for simultaneous control of the above-mentioned blights and injurious insects and labor saving, etc. |
