PURPOSE:The titled composition, containing an active compound mixture of a nitromethylene derivative with one of specific compounds as an active constituent, having low toxicity to warm-blooded animals without phytotoxicity to cultivated plants and useful for controlling particularly insects and blights. CONSTITUTION:An agricultural insecticidal and germicidal composition containing an active compound mixture of a nitromethylene derivative expressed by the formula (X is lower alkyl, lower alkoxy or halogen; l is 0, 1 or 2; m is 2 or 3) with at least one selected from validamycin A, 3'-iso-propoxy-2- methylbenzanilide, alpha,alpha,alpha-trifluoro-o-toluanilide and 6-(3,5-dichloro-4-methyl phenyl)-3(2H)pyridazinone as an active constituent. The mixing weight ratio of the active compounds is, e.g. 1:0.05-20, preferably 1:0.1-10 of the compound expressed by the formula to the active compound in the group of the active compounds described later by pts.wt. |
