PURPOSE:To prevent erosion owing to sticking of molten solder and to eliminate the need for a stage for coating antisticking agent by using a specifically composed alloy to constitute a belt for a belt conveyor type brazing furnace and forming an oxide layer on the surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:A belt for brazing furnace is formed of an alloy consisting, by weight, of 10-35% Cr, 2-10% Al, <=2% >=1 kind among Ti, Zr, Hf, Y, Ce and La and the balance Fe. An oxide layer is formed on the surface of at least the part of the solder where the molten solder contacts. The oxide layer can be formed by heating the belt in an oxidative atmosphere. The belt has good resistance to melt sticking to the molten solder and has poor wettability with various brazing filler metals under brazing conditions and therefore the molten solder does not stick to said belt. |
