<p>A driving control method and apparatus which controls the output of an engine (1) in accordance with the magnitude of influences of the change of a slope, wind and car weight upon a car. The sum of rolling resistance, acceleration resistance and air resistance is determined as a reference resistance, and the difference between this reference driving resistance and all the driving resistances that are determined practically is defined as an environmental influence quantity. The environmental influence quantity represents an increase or decrease in the driving resistance with respect to a flat road, windlessness and a standard car weight. A throttle valve (4) or a fuel injection control governor is subjected to feedback control by referring to this environmental influence quantity in order to improve the response.</p> |
