In the furniture hinge, a carrier arm, on which an articulated linkage engages, is arranged on a baseplate. The baseplate and carrier arm are formed from U-sections facing one another with their open side and engaging one into the other. The carrier arm has a holding and adjusting screw cooperating with an undercut of the baseplate and is connected at the free end to the baseplate by means of a resilient catch mechanism. The baseplate (2) possesses a slot which is open to the start of the latter and closed to the end and into which a crosspin (18) of the carrier arm (4) engages. A spring member (19) of the baseplate (2) is provided with a blocking member (21). The blocking member (21) possesses a run-on nose (21a) which is intended for the crosspin (18) and behind which the crosspin (18) of the carrier arm (4) can be displaced. <IMAGE>
