摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain hot water of a predetermined temperature at all times, to compensate for the heat capacity of a hot water storing device itself and to make it possible to supply the hot water in a desired quantity. CONSTITUTION:The signal from a detector 4 for detecting the temperature of hot water from a heat exchanger 2 is inputted to a temperature controler 3 and a water quantity controler 8 and the difference between the signal from the detector 4 and the set temperature signal from a temperature setting device 5 is operated. Further, the signal from a total water quantity setting device 9 is inputted to the water quantity controler 8. Thus, the maximum quantity of feed water Fwmax is supplied to the water heater at the time of using the heater and when the quantity of the feed water is reduced in proportion to the above mentioned temperature difference from the time when a constant temperature controling condition is reached and when the temperature difference goes higher than a predetermined value. Further, in case where the hot water is supplied to the hot water storage device, the hot water is kept at the set temperature TWR during the period from the starting of the use of the water heater to the time t2 prior to the arrival of the constant temperature controling condition, then at the set temperature TWR' which is higher by DELTATWR than TWR during the period from t2 to t3 by reducing the quantity of the feed water FW to FW2 and after the time t3 onward, it is kept at the set temperature TWR again by increasing the quantity of the feed water FW to FW3 to thereby compensate for the heat capacity of the hot water storage device.
